Extra transmission gearing?

I'm just wondering about some extra transmission gearing. As my signature says I have 3.55 gears and 275/70r18(33.2) tires. So I just recently got the Spartan custom transmission tuning because my truck was shifting hard and now I have noticed that sometimes my truck says I'm in 6th gear yet the rpm's aren't were they supposed to be for that speed. I drive a lot of gravel and sometimes you have to slow down just before a hill due to traffic or bumps. And just after my transmission tuning I noticed that at 80km/h (50mph) in 6th gear I'm at about 1400-1500rpm when I should be at 1200 in 6th at that speed. So when I accelerate the truck up to 100km/h (62mph) the rpm goes up to about 1800 rpm when it should be 1500rpm, the. Once I'm at speed and on top of the hill the rpm drops to where it should be. And no the truck is not shifting into 5th and just indicating 6th because once while it was doing this the truck did drop into 5th and the rpm's increased even more. Also in 5th gear my rpm at 80km/h is 1545 and at 100km/h it's 1930. I tried to find info about this on the net but all I could find was about the 5r110 not the 6r140.
Thanks in advance for any info.

That make sense. I'm guessing it because of the tuning?
