Pulled the trigger on a new 6.7L
Title says it all. I traded off my 2004 6.0L F250 SuperCab for a new 2013 6.7L F350 SuperCab. So far I love it. The Wife likes it too because she says it doesn't stink of diesel and its quiet.
Options of note: 11,200 GVWR, Camper package, FX4 package. This thing should be able to haul my Lance camper legally.
I'm looking for any advice from you guy on how I should drive and maintain this new truck to avoid being another horror story.
I drove my 2004 6.0L for 117,000 before it started getting real expensive (EGR cooler, oil cooler, FICM, fan control module, unit bearings, alternator, turbo pitting). Managed to get $10,000 trade in for it needing a turbo. I really liked it while the good times lasted.
