Items in parenthesis aren't required by Ford, but I plan on replacing fluids at that interval anyway.

As for oil changes, I'm working-up to whatever the oil life monitor recommends. I did an oil change at 130 miles and again at 1,350 miles to get the manufacturing debris out of the engine. I'll run my current oil for about 3,000 miles and see how it looks via used oil analysis. If it still looks strong, I'll run the next oil change for 5,000 miles and test again, etc., until I find the limit of the oil or the oil life monitor requires a change.

I change oil every 5000, air filter @ 10000 and fuel filters @ 15000. I put about 50000 miles on my truck a year though.

I'm curious with a new truck, can one change right away to synthetic oil or is there a certain timetable for doing a switch over. On my two previous and my current truck, I waited till 36k, but was just curious cause I'm looking at getting a 2013, and currently running Valvoline Premium Blue, and have a half full drum that I've been working on, I don't really want it to sit for a year to get to that mark.

you can change right away. just went through this as I got 1200 miles on mine and just switched to t6 5-40. ford recommends synthetic 5-40 if you do any pulling after 500 miles or extreme duty. I belive the 10-30 that comes in it is semi anyway.
