What to expect to pay

My local dealer has a 2012 new F350 king ranch LB. Stickers for like $67K or so. Its sitting all in back with no advertising on internet anything. Went in to talk to them and they offered me $61K plus tax and fees. This included a $4250 or so factory rebate. Told them theres no way Id do that and they let me leave.

Now Ive researched alot and seems I can find these all day for around $54K on internet. Is this a real price or is a gimmick? There was another one that just sold a few miles south of me and was same thing (2012) and my friend stopped on way to work to ask where it was. They said they sold it and he asked how much. They said $44,600 plus tax and fees. Whether or not this is true I cant say as I was not there but that seems like a nice deal to me.

What I wanting and tell me if its feasible is a 2013 or 12 with a purchase price of $50k plus all fees and taxes.

Whats everyone getting these for? Maybe Im way off base I dont know. Ive never bought new before always used. Hell even my wife was slightly gently used when I got her 14 years ago....

the prices you are finding on the internet are real but be careful. they offer all this money off but then you have to finance with ford at a higher interest rate. you would likely end up paying more in interest than the discount you are getting to get the lower price.

I just looked and i paid 58,746.xx (before trade) for my 2012 lariat xlt fx4 4x4 and took the 0% financing.

Good. Now find me a 1 ton SRW King Ranch with black on black, sunroof, short bed, diesel, and 4x4...haha.

Hows your dealer with mods? Friendly? I have no problem traveling to get one if price is right. 20% seems like right in line with others Ive seen. I can work with that. Plus I got money down. Cash.

I just got a new 2012 CC LB, Lariat w/ Larait Interior package, Moon roof, cab lights, 3.55 Eloc, dual alts, two tone. $49,150 (included tag, title, shipping) I put $15k down so FL taxes the delta at 6%. 2.99% rate for 75 months and added the power train warranty out to 6/125k for $2400. Payment at $603

Sticker was $60,950.00

Autonation Ford Miami Lakes. Got the last 2012 there. The tires were showing cracks at the rim and they switched those out as well.

Just picked up a 2013 Lariat at Mac Haik Desoto, Texas (Dallas). MSRP 61700, bought for 51400. Probably could have saved a little more if I kept looking, but this was the exact truck I wanted at not too shabby of a deal. Check out Planet Ford Houston. They had about 6 2012 KR loaded for about 50k or less.

Heres the email I got today from Coughling Ford in Circleville Ohio. I say its too much for the 2012 model. Dealing with Mall of Georgia as of now. We will see if they have what it takes to bring me over to the dark side...

Hi Chris,

I know! I hate going back and forth as well! So here is where we are!

On the 2012, the lowest my sales manager will go with $4,250 in rebates and our discount of $7,775 on the 2012 with a sticker of $67,010 is $54,985. So on a 12 model, you may want to keep looking as you have been.

On the 2013 long bed model that I sent yesterday below is the quote:

$66,865 MSRP

$61,932 Sale Price

-2,500 Rebate

$59,432 Net Selling Price

2013 short bed

$65,190 MSRP

$60,415 Sale Price

- 2,500 Rebate

$57,915 Net selling Price

Wish I had better numbers for you but this is where we are. I wish you well in finding the perfect vehicle for you within your parameter's! Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance and as you said, it has certainly been a pleasure!

Sincerely,

Cindy

Thoughts???

There are too many trucks available in Texas with 10,000+ off. I would not buy a truck without at least 10k 0ff. Airplane ticket isn't that much into Dallas or Houston.

although im in Canada they had a ford rebate of 9250 and and an extra 750 rebate on diesel for all 2012 superduties plus my dealer dropped another 10k . sticker of 76k and got for 56k on my 2012 350 lariat. but from what I have seen they basically put the truck to U.S sticker pricing!!
