Any current MPG figures for the 6.7

Hey all.......did a search on MPG but most is a year or two old. Getting ready to order a 2013 250 King Ranch. One thing I read was the 3.31 gears with the 18" wheels and the 3.55 with the 20" wheels turn about the same RPMs. I assume MPG would be about the same. Do any of you have some real life MPGs you could share with me? Appreciate it.

Bruce

2013 f350CC LWB 4X4 Lariat 20" with 3.55. Bought it 3 weeks ago and have 2050 miles. driving 50/50 hwy/city. On hwy I travel 55-60 and don't drive hard in city. Average since 0 miles on odometer is 16.0. Mileage aside, FORD I believe has built the best truck ever. You will love the 2013. Too bad EPA messes with our mileage. Mine regin's often (80-120 miles).

I loved my 2011 dually. It had 3.77 gears. I got about 16 or a little less. I was hoping to get more with the 3.31 or 3.55. I'd be OK buying the 3.31 gears but I like the 20" wheels you can get with the 3.55. What ever the MPG, I'll get something. I'm not buying it to get great MPG, after all it is a truck. I am just curious what everyone's getting.

I have had my truck a couple of months now and in 2400 miles my average mpg is 14.0 calculated by the computer. I am also in Quartzsite. Small world.

I also have 3.55 with 20s. Right now, my truck has about 4500 miles on it, so I anticipate the MPG increasing some as it breaks in. The dash regularly reports avg mpg at 14.8. I would consider my driving a good combo of city and hwy. I reset it when I made a run Louisiana a couple of months ago, and it settled to around 18.5. These numbers are all with the 325/60/20 tires I put on the truck when I bought it. I don't know what kind of difference stock size tires would make.

There's a cool site called Fuelly (Fuelly | Share and Compare Your MPG) where people can record their mileage and share it. They let you browse by make and model, so for example this will show you all the F-250 Super Duties (Ford F-250 Super Duty MPG Reports | Fuelly). Hope that helps...

I have a 2012 F250 CC/SB 3.55 with 20's, I have a touch over 14k and have hand calculated my mpg's before and after I deleted. Before I deleted my 6 tank average was 16.48 mpg with a 70/30 split of city/highway with a few 600 mile road trips home. After the delete with the same routes of city/highway with a few of the same road trips my 8 tank average currently is 18.93 mpg. Very happy with the avg's now and I'm sure once I quit driving like a mad man I might squeeze a tad more.

It really depends how you drive the truck. If you can get it into 6th gear and just let it loff along, You get great mileage, City driving with lots of stop and go, It will drop right off.

I have driven several trucks across the US. With both the 3.31 18" wheels and 3.55 and 20" wheels. At freeway speeds of 80 mph, Cruise set and drive 800-1000 miles I get 18 to 18.5

My personal trucks tows a lot and you can see my avg for 85,000 miles below.

My personal truck is a F350 CC, LWB, SRW 3.55 with 20" stock Michelins
