Lack of throttle response and hard shifting???

Hey guys, on my 2012 lariet i am having trouble with it shifting hard or iratic from 1-2 and 2-3. I also have some lag when pushing on the gas pedal, i usally have to push it a 1/4 inch before anything happens then after that its super sensitive , so much that its hard to drive without spinning, Its a reall pain in the *** when in traffic of even a parking lot for that matter, I read that there were some updates to correct this but could not find any tsb info. If anyone know and could point me in the right direction that would be great. thanks

Exact dame thin happens to me. Talked to another guy on here and he said it was his transmission pump. Took it to the dealer and they replaced it, problem gone. I have no idea how the throttle response has to do with that but if it fixes it, mine is going in the shop next week.

If the fix your please let me know how it worked out and if there was a service recall on it, i talked to a few guys that have the touchy throttle issue and the said there problems went away with a tuner but i dont wanna go that route till warrenty is up

Yessir will do. Truck will hopefully be going in early next week. Eventually I would like a tuner but stock maybe the best way to go in terms of reliability.

I have no idea. Thankfully I am still under warranty so I don't have to worry about it.

Crap I'm not I just bought a 2002 and its sensitive as well on the throttle only in the first gear. As soon as I hit 1300 rpm it's normal though.

That may be another problem since its a different transmission, different pump and everything else. It may be the problem but I don't know anything about the older trannys. Depending on where you bought it you may have a used car warranty.

If it's still under warranty, take it in!
