FX/4 kit-truck ride higher?

Hey guys I just bought a brand new 2012 f-350.Full load lariat-But no FX/4 package.
My friend tells me they are 1.5" higher than without.I am aware of the skidplates and hill decent feature.
Id like to put some bilstiens in regardless.
Also is my rear diff a dana 60/or 70?
How can I tell if I have the 3.55 gears?
No finned diff cover and top overload springs only a single pack,if that means anything............

Go to this website, put in your VIN and check out your window sticker...I'm assuming you don't have one?

Should tell you everything about the truck.

until a 6.7 owner post up lol

in the past the fx was skid plates/ shocks/ sticker, no ride height increase
and unless the 2012 changed you have a stearling 10.5 axle under a SRW truck

The Fx4 is skidplates and crappy shocks. Adding the skids is possible but expensive and the shocks are junk to begin with.

Ride height is the same.

You didn't miss out on much.
