old 6.4 owners with a 6.7,need your opinion

well I currently have the 6.4 (2010) and am not to happy with it. had it tuned and deleted then after about 35 kms started loosing antifreeze. I have it back to stock now and I hate it. my dealer called me up and was talking about a 2012 lariat that I may consider.

my truck is a dd that the wife mostly uses. I live in a small town but lots of highway and the summer months pulling a car hauler with my drag car on it. the issue is the damn regen. I would love to leave the 6.7 stock and not loose sleep over every rattle. is the regen really better than the 6.4,or less hard on the motor.? like I said earlier im in a small town and the wife refuses to hit the highway in winter or drive circles around town for an hour. she will leave it for me after work! I do plan on a 5th wheel camper soon. all I plan on is a slight lift and tires. thanx in advance

dump the 6.4 and jump on the 6.7 I have had two of each, and by far the 6.7 is better in all aspects.

I agree!!!! Had a 6.4 and moved to the 6.7. Everything bad about the 6.4 was corrected in the 6.7. Of course this is just my opinion. I am 69, this will be the last truck I owe. I normally traded every 18 months, but love this 6.7.

right now they dropped the price from sticker of 72k to 54k but only offering 22k for my 2010 with 68 kms so i'm working them a bit more!! ford has rebate on 2012 of 10k so it looks like they are just trying to make it look sweet by offering a low trade.

Love my 6.7. It is better than my 6.4 in my opinion. And the tranny makes a huge difference.

I'd go for the 6.7L anyday...my spartan tuned 6.4L was still a fuel sucking slug. My 6.7L stock is more truck than my 6.4L ever hoped to be. Maybe my 6.4L wasn't as good as it should have been but as I said, no comparison.
