Anyone istall a DEF pump?

Dealer wants $1250 to replace faulty pump. I heard the actual pump is way cheaper. Anyone given the install a try yet? Its BS that DEF is not covered under drivetrain warranty. My truck is a 2011 F250 with 80000km Thanks

You must have gotten lucky...I thought the emission warranty was only 50k.

Rodzilla quoted his distance in Km which may mean he is in Canada?? If so, the US federal emissions warranty would not apply??

DPF is coming out right away, not sure about EGR yet. Can it be tuned out and factory parts left on? I saw on H&S site the EGR delete kit, but I haven't read enough about all the this tuner stuff yet. Was going to wait till my entire warranty was toast, but after DEF pump not being covered I don't want to give Ford my $$$$$

You can close the EGR with the MM. The delete kit is nice since you get a pre-turbo EGT with a stock Pyro plugged into the block off plate. And it is cheap and easy to do. But a warrenty is nice too, so you have some desicions to make.
