Oil Change 14 qts

Did my first oil change. Dealer and book says 13 qts. I put in 13 started truck ran for a few minutes. Shut it off let stand for 10 minutes and check it. Needed one more qt. 14 for my truck. Whats everone else putting in?

Oh, and btw, i hate the oil dipstick...hard to get an accurate measurement from that piece of crap.

Ok...so I am thinking this is the worst dipstick ever....I struggle to find anything I dislike about my truck...but the dipstick is it!

13.5 here. I think it's full after yanking that dipstick out half a dozen times

Note that the Diesel Supplement says to wait at least 20 minutes (p. 49):
3. Allow at least 20 minutes after engine shutdown to ensure that the oil contained in the upper parts of the engine has returned to the oil pan.
