There is a thread on the differences between the 12's and 13's if your curious. The 13's come with a slightly different center stack due the bigger nav screen. Also, the 13's have a different PCM so no aftermarket tuning for now. IMO its really hard to talk about prices because they vary so much by what options are on the truck and the location. For example, I could have saved some money by ordering my truck in Texas, but the savings weren't large enough to off set the hassle of going and picking it up. Good luck on your new truck.

44 for an xlt is too much. Around here 12's are going for 15000 off sticker.

Mileage is all over the place since some folks tow heavy with tall ratios, lift kits and big tires, while others cruise the flatlands lightly loaded with stock everything and 3.31 rears.

Having said that, the best folks seem to get is the low 20's, and the worst seems to be in the mid-teens. Lots of threads on mileage here and elsewhere, though; seek and ye shall find.

Hey Jose!
My advice is to decide on the model, color and options you want before shopping. Visit the Ford site and play with the "Build & Price" until you are satisfied. After you have done that check out dealer inventory via the same site. There is at least one dealer in CA who posts rock-bottom inventory pricing up on the internet.

Jose,
My 2012 F350 CC 4X4 averages 18 mpg. From what I have read, the 6.7L gets better fuel milege than the 6.4L.
Also, JSolve said it right. Build the truck you want on the Ford.com site and then go shopping. When I was looking, I knew exactly what I wanted and was able to find it within 25 miles of home.

If you go with a 2012, I'd get at least 15k off sticker or walk out the door.
