TPMS

Does anyone know if the TPMS can be adjusted? I would like to run 65 front and rear when I am not towing, but the warning comes on if I go less than 80 in the rear on my F350. Thanks.

I THINK you can buy different sensors that use the same frequency but signal at a lower pressure. Buy another front set, maybe?

I retrained my tires to think the front tires are in the rear....and vice versa. Here is the tread that explains everything: Tire pressure 2011 F-350 KR - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

I now run 68 psi in the front and 56 psi in the rear. No warning light on in the dash and get a lot smoother ride. Mine is a 2012 short bed CC F-350. Try it...you'll like it.

You can also go to your Ford dealer and see if they will adjust the trucks computor to not turn on the TPMS light when you run a lower tire pressure setting. It can be done, The local Ford dealer did it for me. I had them set mine at 40 psi. Now I can adjust the tire pressure lower for none trailer pulling and higher pressures for trailer towing, then back lower when no trailer towing. I have no TPMS light come on. Some dealers will tell you it can't be done, but it can. They do not want to accept the liability.
