sync message
Sync has connected to your phone and is reminding you that 911 assist is set to off. Is there anyway of getting rid of that message. I think I am going to get an after market hands free and unpair my phone.

You could turn it on. I work in the wireless communications industry and I can tell you providers and manufacturers take e911 very seriously. The message is their way of covering themselves in the event your airbags deploy and your paird device doesn't dial 911.

If the 2013's are silent maybe there is an update that I could get? |

Just turn it on. It only there to help you. It won't do anything else unless air bags deploy. Mine kept saying it too so I just turned it on.

Thanks, I shut the message off. I was almost certain that I had tried shutting it off 2 years ago without any success. I think one of the Sync updates must have addressed the issue. I was getting absolutely sick of hearing that message every time I started the truck.
