fuel pump

Hi Guys, is it normal for these trucks that when you shut the truck off that you can hear the fuel pump running for another 10 seconds. I know this is a simple question I just havent had the time to ask around. My truck is a 2012 f250 king ranch with 4500 miles all stock.

It's normal. My truck makes all kinds of funny noises when running and shutting down. Scared the crap out of me for the first couple weeks.

Have you heard the typewriter noise when your trucks idling? That was interesting first time I heard that.

Haven't heard that yet, I don't spend a lot of time it in. To tell ya the truth its my wife's truck. I have owned a diesel truck since 2001 and with my job it just didn't make sense anymore to have a diesel so I down sized to a half ton. I couldn't stand not having a diesel to drive anymore so I ended up buying this one for my wife to drive so i could still enjoy the power and feel of a diesel.
