we are getting heavy snow

well guys we have 10-16 inches of snow on the way i was reading my manual and its says in heavy snow the air filter can get clogged. Has anyone had any problems with the 6.7 in snow? please any input would be apperciated

I read on one of the other sites that someone was complaining of the very thing. I believe it was on a cc truck though.

If you are really concerned I would order yourself the Ford Pre-Filter for Snow plowing.

Never had a problem in deep snow and i'm in it everyday from November to April. I ordered the snow plow pre filter and never had a issue.

Plow from November to April and never had a problem. No pre-filter on my truck. Wouldn't worry about a thing.

No, but watch that lower valance. I bet Ford sells a ton of replacements after good dump of snow. I now take mine off each winter!
