Finally got my truck!

Picked her up on Saturday! Love this truck!! What I wasn't happy with was the fact that there was 13.7 miles on the odometer and the radio was blasting gangster rap with the bass turned all the way up. Guessing someone was joy riding. I special ordered it so I could see maybe 5 miles on the clock.

We ordered a Hyundai (for my wife) earlier this year. Similar story had 37 miles on it, so we were going to leave. They ended up getting another one the next day identical to the one we ordered with 3 miles on it. And I got them to come down another $500 for the hassle.

Give It a few weeks or months and you will forget about it.

Same thing happened to us. We special ordered one of the new 2011 explorers in tuxedo black with the black and brown interior with rear buckets and fully loaded. It was one of the first ones they got and they took it around to show off the new design and didn't even call us to tell us it was in when it got there. Needless to say we don't order our trucks there any more. After our 2012 f450 I'm not sure we are gonna order trucks anymore after the salesman telling us our f450 would have fog lights and painted front fender flares and we get it, no fog lights, and black textured fender flares then saying he never said that. I guess next time we will have it written on paper and signed by everyone.

I ordered the truck through someone else and just had it shipped to this dealer. They didn't get my business so apparently I wasn't important. The guy basically tossed me the keys and pointed to the truck. Didn't even ask to see an ID.

They drove mine to fill the tank...so I took delivery with about 15 miles. They don't come from the factory with very much fuel.

Wow that's a fail on their part. When they have a nice Shelby sitting out front you should try the same thing and see if they just toss you the keys lol. And the music turned up loud was probably just the detailing guys while they were detailing it. It happens all the time at our dealership. Congrats on the truck btw.

There was less than 1/4 of a tank in it so I know they didn't drive it to get fuel. Plus the average mpg was 8 so they were out beating on it.
Thought about "test driving" one of their mustangs... Do a brake stand in the parking spot then shut her down and toss them back the keys lol.
