Limiting Straps?
I did a little searching, and only came up on one or two posts, only with a few replies... What are your thoughts on limiting straps?
I just put on a 6" Pure Performance lift, and thought it may be a good idea to throw them on. I do not do crazy offroading, but I am just thinking more along the lines of when I take it in for service. Should the axle drop, with the shocks being able to take more, wouldnt that cause major issues? I put extended brake lines on, but dont I still run the possibility of causing other problems? |

If you're worried about it, do it. I don't think it's necessary, especially for the driving you say you do. If you're worried about the dealer, you could get some and install them only when you go to the dealer...or just keep them on all the time. They're simple enough to put on and remove.

the shocks are plenty strong enough to function as limiters, except in the most severe duty cases like if you were offroad racing or fourwheelin your truck on a regular basis.
IMHO waste of money |

Limiting Straps?
Regular full extension of shocks are a little hard on their seals but most guys only get full extension when their truck is getting serviced. LOL

Make darn sure they do not rub against or flap against your brake hoses while driving.
