mini maxx mounting options

I've got a mini maxx and i want to see what everyone is doing for mounting them. I really like when they are mounted down where the ash tray would be. Does anyone know how to mount it there and have pics of how its done? Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Lets see them

Seen cup holder mount, suction cup mount, and above drivers left vent.

Oh and rear view mirror mount, but I think that's illegal.

Here is what I did. I machined a brass holder that I inverted a windshield mount to.

This was simple and is almost always 100 percent in view unless making sharp turns and then you wouldn't normally be looking at mini at that time. It's also out of sight from the outside, which I like. The only downside is that the left turn signal indicator is covered. You can see the light reflecting behind it, but it's still a slight annoyance.
