thinking about getting a 6.7 opinions please!

so I'm thinking about getting rid of my 6.4 to buy a new 6.7. My cousin has a 6.7 f550 and says it pulls anything he puts behind it but it isn't ballsy, and a friend of mine had a 6.7 but got rid of it for a new cummins and told me stay clear away from a new ford. Anyone wanna chime in for me, I just want power and reliability. My 6.4 hasn't had any problems except for an egr going bad. Thanks

I have a 2012 F-350 with 8k miles on it and I love it! Super nice inside and out tons of power and turns heads everywhere I go. I havent had any problems with mine and have had the delete kit on it since 2k miles.

good to hear that, I'd do the dpf delete as soon as I get the truck, whats your mpg w the delete?

I have 3.55 rear end and I am getting around 19mpg highway right now and expect it to keep getting better after the truck is fully broke in.

The dpf delete days are almost over. None are available for the 2013+ trucks.
The H&S delete offerings are gone.
Spartan can't be too far behind.
EPA is crackin down hard.

Mine is a '12 made in 'feb 12 and I luv it. Truck is the cat's meow and has tons of power, tranny is 'just right' and it's very comfortable and surprisingly quiet too, inside. From what I'm told it's a pretty loud truck outside.
mpg is around 16 these days, round about town or running 75-80. I'm sure it would do better at 55, but...well...I blame it on the 13" wide tires

Looks like your '08 is pretty nice too. You might just stay there. Not sure what getting a new truck gets YOU.

I want a truck under warranty is what I'm looking for, I'm ready for something new as well and have a baby on the way so it will be nice to know I won't have to be paying for a new trans or motor or anything like that.

I did forget about all the EPA cracking down and delete kits and tuners are just about obsolete. You would have a truck under warranty but prob will never be able to delete it.
