Retro Solutions Installed Question
I have installed the 6000 55 watt headlight and fogs from retro solutions.
I have never had HID headlights or fogs before, but are the fogs suppose to be EXTREMELY bright compared to the headlights? im new to this and I was just seeing if this is normal, it takes them about 6 seconds to warm up and then they are bright bright! |

Probably normal. 55w out of the fog lights would probably be pretty bright. I would have gone with a 35w for the fogs.

I am running 5k's on mine, yes they will be bright as heck way brighter than stock. You will pry not be able to run your fogs unless you are out in the country or on a less traveled road. If I am using mine I will turn them off when I meet a car. Also you might have to adjust your headlights down some.

Retro Solutions Installed Question
I had 6k 55w hids and they were both the same. Are u sure ur heads are 55w? Maybe they mixed up ur order? But yeah tint would do it. Go to pep boys or anywhere and get some 20% or higher.

Yeah both boxes read 55 watt. Is there any other way to tell?

Maybe on the ballast or wires. 6k should be whiteish in color not any blue. I think retro uses 2 different ballasts for their 55 and 35w.

Where did y'all hide your ballast box on the fogs and how did you ground them?
