Relaiable for 400kms+

Hey guys looking at buying either a new cummins or a new powerstroke right now we have a 12v with 400 and our neighbor has a 03 cummins with 500. We will be keeping the truck long term putting on over 40kms a year on the truck and wanting it to last for years and not having to worry about it and costing us a lot our cummins never cost us anything.

I'm at 125,000kms right now and other than oil, filters, tires and shocks, It has not cost me.

We are all hoping for long term free of troubles.

I hate to say it but I don't believe that you will get that kind of miles out of any of the trucks now a days before something happens. Nothing against the engines/trucks, more along the lines of the other related unknown things as in crappy fuel, emission systems, servicing, even new parts(replacement parts) are known to fail if something was to go wrong on the trucks. Now having said that If I was to go buy a new powerstroke, I would expect it to last me a long time on non-wear items. Which what isn't wearing on a rig?
