The amount of energy it takes to produce a prius vs. a truck all but negates the mileage advantage. The car and all of it's components circle the planet a few times before they roll 1 foot on the odometer.

What they are leaving out is the toxic process it takes to make these batteries. Also, what happens to them when the batteries go bad? They probably get thrown away somewhere to muck up our soil. That sounds worse than driving my mean ol Ford.

I just tickles me that a major news source found my particular truck to be the 'meanest' on earth.
I agree. lol |

What a load of bull****. Let them both get in a crash and when the Ford owner walks away and the Prius owner is killed, I'd like to see them still praising their Prius. Ford truck till I die.

I own trucks, my wife drives a SUV, as so do my kids. When they leave home, I feel they have the bet chance of coming back in one piece, vs. driving a green car. I'll always own trucks, period. |

"However Ford was hammered as having three of the “Meanest” models, a list that not only included the F-350 but also the slightly smaller F-250 pickup."
Since when in is the F250 smaller?

what makes Me laugh is there is basically no difference between the 350 and 250 so they should be in the same " pollution " class

The 250 is smaller than the 350.... by 2" in the rear.
