Whats a decent price on a used 6.7
Im lurking here from the 6.0 forums. I had my truck stolen out of my driveway last week. I dont really want to take the 6.0/6.4 plunge again. Everything Ive heard on the 6.7 is its rock solid. Im looking for a used 2011+ F250 CCSB 4x4 with less than 60k miles. Im out in the great red state of Ca, so anyone have any ideas what a ball park deal would be. I dont have anything in mind yet, as Im waiting for my insurance company to pay off my existing loan first. Any help would be appreciated!

I dont know about a used one. Just to give you an idea, I paid $51,700 otd for my 2012 CCSB Lariat it has everything but navi and sunroof. Also has tow package w/ 5th wheel prep package. I am also in Louisiana. Thats also brand new.

mah77...try edmunds and kbb for some baseline data. Then, do some online searches. With finance rates/etc...sometimes the new vehicle is the better. And/or, you can get a consumer reports used car research report.
Oh...and am I misreading...great RED state of CA? I am little confused about that LOL! |

I paid $37,500 for my truck in the middle of last year. It is the lariat with everything but Nav and sunroof. It had 50K miles one owner in prestine condition.
So I would say around $30K for an XLT, $35K for a Lariat, and maybe $38 for a KR. |

Used 6.7's hold their price pretty well. Frankly, dealers still have plenty of 2012's on their lots and the promotions make them better deals than used trucks right now. And the discount from new price makes lenders pretty happy about loaning on them because the initial-purchase depreciation is already pretty much worked out of the valuation. Definitely a time to get a deal. Plus the 2012's have next to no problems. Ford was fixing a few things like radiators on the 2011's, but 2012's are about as fault-free as you can get. Negotiate hard, research local discounts, and be sure and see what Ford is offering. I just heard that Ford may be doing an abbreviated model year with the 2013's, simply because they still have a lot of 2012's to move. That's a polite way of saying you should get a great deal. This forum and the Ford Motors Superduty Forum have threads with dealers who give some stellar deals. If you're prepared to hop a flight to Texas and drive the truck back, there's a dealer there who will make you very happy with selection and price. Just check around and be a smart buyer.

Which dealer are you referring to in Texas? I'm in Oklahoma looking to buy, so going to Texas would not be an issue.

I haven't bought from either but they have nationwide reputations for great prices and good service. Those are the ones in Texas I was referring to. I've heard nothing but good about Vernon. Be sure and mention the forum because I believe I heard it invokes some preferential pricing.
Are you a veteran? Dealers in Ft Worth and the area are also really good about special deals for military. Generally, pricewise, I bought a 2012 SD recently -- Lariat, CC long bed, Platinum paint, 20 inch wheels, every option except sunroof, nav and the chrome package -- and paid $51K. That was about $14K under MSRP, and the price included a $2K 100K/6 year extended warranty and a Linex Ultra job. As I said, great deals out there. Anyone getting a better deal these days?
