Super Duty Factory Tour
Here is a link to the Louisville Super Duty plant tour. I thought some might find it interesting. I'm sure I'm not the first one to post this link.

Good, scary, I guy in shorts? No hard hats?, no steel toe boots? What kind of safety is this? Over head cranes and no hard hats? Gloves not on their hands but on the muffler?

I worked in a tube mill with overhead cranes. Hardhats were not required.

Do you get a free SuperDuty at the end of the tour???
![]() That would be an interesting tour. When I was in High School, we got to take a tour of the Ford plant in Milpitas, CA (long since closed). We were "assigned" a car. We were in a multi-seat buggy (for lack of a better name). We would go along the assembly line for a bit, go off to tour other parts of the plant and then come back to 'our car' to see the progress from frame to complete. We repeated the process a couple of times and were back in time to see it roll off. |
