I've noticed this delayed engagement lately but don't have the TSB unfortunately. The only time it ever seems to be happening is when the tranny is still cold. I'm using aftermarket transmission tuning for whatever it's worth and it is still happening.

I assume you're asking about TSB. Technical Service Bulletin I think. It's like a recall without the official status of a recall. It means Ford has acknowledged there is an issue with something but not enough reports to merit a full recall. Something that if you bring it to Ford they are required to address the issue.

If you're talking about the delayed engagement however it would be like when I put my truck in drive and take my foot of the brake and nothing happens for a couple seconds then the transmission finally shifts into drive and starts rolling forward.
