Assuming you're not a commercial vehicle...I believe you'll be alright as long as you keep your throttle quiet while going through. Keep the smoke and noise to a minimum!

Here's some helpful info if you haven't already visited the site:

Don't mean to steal your thread, but does anyone know if there would be problems going the other way? (from canada to us) I have the full delete as well and was thinking about doing a road trip to texas. Should i avoid California? Thanks

I always avoid California if I can, but only because there's a lot of CHP out there writing citations because they desperately need revenue!

Not sure what part of Canada you're in...or what part of Texas you're going to...but I like states with high speed limits when I'm on road trips. Oregon has some of the lowest in the country (lots of 55 MPH, some 65 MPH)...and Washington & California are still low at 70 MPH...while some other states have lots of 75 MPH...Parts of TX & UT are 80 MPH (and one small section of TX has 85 MPH). Basically, if your route can handle it, depending on what landmarks / regions you want to experience, etc...and you want to go faster, click this link and see the limits:

I'm in edmonton and have done the drive to padre island a couple of times, usually go through montana, wyoming and colorado. Was wanting to go down the west coast but might hold off because i dont want problems/excessive tickets from the CHP.

Thanks. And when i get back from out of town ill make sure to post up some pics of my truck

I have crossed over into Canada with my old 6.0 that was all deleted. They just seem more worried about your passport and what you are doing there and how long your gowind to stay.

3.5 years in Houston and we still haven't made it to Padre...someday...I really have no excuse considering there are people from Edmonton driving down there! Safe travels!

Just go easy on the gas and keep the smoke to a minimum and you'll be fine.

i have crossed the border lots and i have never been asked anything about my truck either way and i haven't had a stock vehicle, ever. Even my lifted Cummins powered 78 Bronco pulling a trailer, all they wanted was to look in my trailer and make sure i wasn't transporting anything illegal.
