A little help

Does anyone know how to disconnect the light wire that goes into the visor to light up the mirror?

I am trying to take my visors off for a little project i have for them but when i unscrew the screws to get them off there is the wire that goes into the visor to power the lights for the mirror. Does anyone know how to unhook that without breaking it? I tried pulling, twisting, swearing. but none of that seemed to work. Am i missing something.

??? Thanks for any help.

I think the headliner may have to come down to access the wire connector.

When my F150 had a prob with the visor they said the headliner has to come off.
It really is a bad design IMHO. Call the dealer to verify though.
