Mini Maxx ABS Plastic dash mount problem

Mount keeps coming loose and tilting forward. I cleaned the dash where it mounts with alcohol and the double sided tape keeps coming loose. I also replaced the tape with double sided 3M tape, cleaned the surface again and still comes loose. Any suggestions, anyone else have this problem?

did you paint that pod silver or did it come that way, mine showed up black so was trying to find out what paint color match it was.

I ordered it color matched. It's close, but not 100%. I'm not sure what they used. the top is textured like the dash, but the sides seem smoother for some reason.

I think I ordered it here LINK

After cleaning with alcohol, try warming up the plastic and 3M tape with a hair dryer before applying and attempting to apply/bond them to the dash.
This process has worked for me especially when attempting this during the cooler time of the year. I hope this helps...
...and, try not to get any fingerprints or oil from your skin on the dash, mount, or tape before/when applying...

Got the heat gun out, added 3 strips of double sided tape to the end closest to the windshield. Hope that does the trick. I'll see in the morning. Yeah, cold weather has been the enemy.

I'm going to have a bracket built for my mini max to mount in the lower left corner of my cluster. That way it is mounted a little more out of sight to others but still visible to me.
