anyone having problems with the lcd screen

today was driving on 890 in schenectady and the right side of my screen where the gear #'s are were gone no lighting. Am going in next thursday so ford can fix it anyone have or heard of any problems with the lcd screens.

Just push the + or - on the manual shifter button on the shifter and it will come back on.

I had the same thing too I thought maybe I had just been driving in manual and not noticing but I accidentally hit the +/- button and they came back! That easy!

HAHA...yeah, that easy. You can turn it off that way too...probably just hit one of those buttons without realizing it. It also seems to get turned off whenever I take it in to get serviced and they flash the computer. I just turn it back on.
