Why is this option not available on the upper trim packages?

Is this option available on the xt or chassis cab trucks? I have never heard of it, but I wish my lariat had the option.

By the way i understand it it is on all 6.7. It is not an option. I think yall are misunderstanding "user commanded regen". It is not that you are commanding the truck to regen it is that the truck is commanding you to drive so that it can regen. You will see a message that tells you to drive so that it can clean the exhaust filter. You will get this message if you take a lot of very short trips.

I think you may be incorrect...from the way I understand it, the truck will alert you to needing a regen. You then put on the parking brake, and punch a button. If the truck has over 1/8 tank of fuel and certain other requirements, it elevates the idle and cleans the filter. I thought it was mostly on the cc trucks that are going to be idling in one spot a lot.

According to Ford's site it is only available on xl and xlt.
Here is a link I found, the only works if it is stationary which i think sucks

The link is for an f550... So chassis cab only people.

Ok well i misunderstood sorry. I know in my F250 owners manual it talks about it and says what i said above.
