New Consumer Reports 2013 buyers guide with reviews of the 2012 HD offerings from GM, Ford, and Ram is out. While the GM is rated a little higher in the road test (GM-69, very good, Ford 65, very good, Ram 49, good), the Ford bested the Ram and GM in both reliability (average vs much worse than average for GM and RAM) and also fuel economy (14 for GM, 13 for Ram, 16 for Ford).
Just thought I'd share. I know I really enjoy my truck. It's nice that an impartial source shows reliability on Ford as a better bet vs the others... |

Doesnt surprise me a bit! I test drove them all, and the Ford was the best of them all.

Funny, I just looked into this yesterday. The reliability rankings are interesting given the instances of HPFP problems. It seems there aren't many issues, but when there are problems they are really bad and really expensive.
