Questions

So I wanted to ask a couple questions. This weekend I was out hunting and I needed to get out of some mud. I locked the diff and then I put it into 4H. When I put it into 4H it made a hard shift, I was wondering if this is normal. It wasn't real bad. I don't remember my '04 doing this, but it had been a while since I had put that into 4H. The only reason I ask is because my brother, a Duramax guy, thought it shifted to hard so he had to say " Good thing its under warranty ". To me it seemed normal. My other question which is unrelated, has to do with the chrome package. I have a '12 F350 cc sb Lariat. I noticed a F350 Lariat on the road today that seemed to have the chrome package and had chrome exhaust tips. I had not thought much about mine until then. I have the chrome package, but I do not have chrome exhaust tips. I had read somewhere this was only an option on the King Ranch. I really don't care about having this, but if I paid for the chrome package and I should have this, Ford needs to put them on. I want to know if the Lariat with the chrome package should of came with the chrome exhaust tips? Thanks in advance.

On the 4x4 shift, my 6.4 did it once too and my company Chev does it once in a while too. I don't think it's too bad but one would want to avoid t, it's just the 4x4 engaging while your starting to move or already moving. If it keeps doing it I would get it checked.
