KING RANCH vs PLATINUM

Just as the title says, I want to hear what everyone thinks of the new platinum and how it compares to the king ranch (in your opinion) Pros & cons.

Also With the introduction of the platinum, will ford bring back the Harley Davidson edition to the superduty.

I'm not a fan of the Platinum's tailgate cover or bedside badges. I'd remove the bedside badges easily but the tailgate cover would be more painful to change. I do like the nav screen though, that thing is huge! I debated waiting for the 2013s and contemplated the Platinum vs the Lariat Ultimate...but the deals on the 2012s allowed me to get the Lariat Ultimate for such a low price that I pulled the trigger.

If I had to choose one to own I'd choose the King Ranch. If the Platinum didn't have those goofy tailgate strips then maybe I'd consider it.

Platinum all the way. I agree that the side badges are horrible but it would take all of 10-15 minutes to remove them. No offence to anyone at all, but I'm just not a fan of the two-tone paint on the King Ranches. The body colored front and rear bumpers are awesome IMO. The tailgate would not be enough to sway me away from the Platinum. In fact, I think it's growing on me the more I see it.

About the Paint the front and rear bumpers body color on my 11' Lariate Ultimate.
