Oil Selection - Castrol Tection

Anyone have any experience with Castrol Tection Extra (or Global) 15W-40 on the 6.7L?

While I haven't used it, my fuel distributor (BP) also handles Castrol. Last summer he tried to get me to switch to Castrol and pulled out a list of UOA's from his own trucks to show me.
Its very good oil, as his UOA's shown. Castrol just doesn't advertise to the extent of the other major oil companies so it just doesn't have the following of Shell or Mobil in the pick-up world.

Doesn't the 6.7 call for 10w-30, and I'll assume its 15w-40 for heavy towing.

Thanks roadrunner...appreciate the input! I'm a big Castrol guy...I have fantastic UOA's from my Tundra (Edge 0W-30). You are correct, the manual does say 10W-30 for normal service, 5W-40 for severe service, and 15W-40, 0W-30, and 0W-40 are all options as well.

If I don't hear any negative feedback or see any poor UOAs I will to stick with Castrol Tection 15W-40 since I can get it very inexpensively, and the temperature range looks good for what I do & where I live.

I'm using Castrol Tection Extra for the last 3-4 years in my 6.0L & 6.4L without any problems, it is an excellent oil but for my next oil change I'll switch to synthetic T6.
