Cab lights

Okay, getting ready to buy a new truck as my Duramax is starting to slowly fall apart. Really like the looks of cab lights on a diesel, but noticed they are only standard on the DRW's. Can a dealer install these on a truck that is in their lot or does it have to be done at the factory? I installed the ones on my Chevrolet and have had zero issues but it is nerve racking to drill holes into your roof and don't want to do it again.

The dealer will install them for a charge. You can also have other shops or yourself install them

I just installed mine last Sat.... It wasn't horrible!

they are an option if you are ordering a new SRW truck

but it's not that bad of a job .. if your buying used I might not use the dealer We have specialty shops I would choose first

BUT..... If a dealer does it while selling new, I think I remember some people saying the dealer provides warrenty from water leaking... Might be worth it

I know you can order them that way, just haven't seen any in the lots and want to take advantage of the good deals right now for 2012's.

I dont know why Ford doesnt put them on all the trucks, they look so much better with them imo! My only regret when installing mine was after i got them on i realized they are about 1/2" further back than the stockers, I know I know its only a 1/2" but it still bothers me a little. haha
