Exclamation Can the 6.7 in a F550 be brought up to full spec?

I know Ford detunes the engine in the "commercial" trucks.
They take 97 hp and 140 FPT away, which I just HATE.

Can a man re-tune to gain back those robbed numbers? Obviously, the warranty will be voided. I just wonder?

An aftermarket tuner will bring the power up, but the turbos are different so it won't be equal tune for tune to say a F250/350.

turbo and software are different...
The BIG issue is that you will decrease the duty cycle of the engine significantly..
If you dont plan on pulling much you will be ok...
