New to the 6.7, looking for pointers.

I am not new to the org but I am new to the 6.7 section. I totaled my 6.0 and stepped up to a 2012 F250 Lariat CCSB FX4, purchased it yesterday afternoon. I was wondering if y'all had any pointers to keep her purring like a little kitten. I am adding a fuel treatment to the fuel and I plan on draining water separator every week or so. Is there anything else that I need to do to keep her going like she is now? Besides regular maintenance that is.

By the way I love this truck. It has so much more power than the 6.0 in stock form, it also has a lot better creature comforts.

No reason to add additives every tank, every other tank should be good. I have drained my water separator 3 times in 3 months and never found a drop of water, every week may be a little overkill. Good luck with your purchase, I love my truck.

I have like 53k on mine and never add fuel treatment or drain the water. Just buy good fuel.

Congrats. I drained my filter at 6000 miles - no water. I do add Diesel Kleen to it....but that's a personal preference.

Keep it well maintained and she'll purr....oh...and every once in a while....let her run
