fuel tanks / and FX4 suspension questions

well i have a question, i have a 250 shortbed 26g tank, my question is does the 250 longbed 34g tank fit as a replacement?? maybe with a lil modding??

also i have just the 4x4 version, what is the difference between the 250 4x4 and the 250 fx4??

thanks guys for the info...

I have never seen anyone us a LB tank in a SB for any year and that leads me to believe it will hit something long before you get it in there

Historically the FX4 has a skid plate over the same SB fuel tank a transfer case skid plate and different shocks .. oh and the goofy sticker

search Titan tanks for a 50 gal SB tank

i have been looking at the 50g titan tanks, but was just curious if the LB was interchangable with the SB tank just for cost reasons.

and the FX4 and 4x4 question was because i would like to add alil rake to the back end of the truck and i thought that the fx4 was higher than the regular 4x4.

i love my truck but am finding it hard to find mods that ppl have done... like fogs with highs mods, high idle mods, diferent model superduty parts for replacements or any other ford parts for replacement parts type of information. i dont know if i am doing it wrong but have tried searching it on the forums and cant find anything.

thanks for the help
