Service Intervals, 7500 or 10,000 miles??
Everything relating to my pickup says that the oil needs to be changed every 7,500 miles. Ford Website and the Owners Manual.
But when I bought my pickup I went ahead and bought the 75,000 service package. After about 18 yrs of changing my oil I am done, getting lazy I suppose. Anywho, the finance guy that sold the package to me crossed out the 7,500 mile interval and wrote down 10,000 intervals. What the hell? What is correct? |

I've got 15k miles on my truck and have been changing at about 7k miles. Last oil change the message center on my truck recommended - change oil soon. I am following service manual so I don't have a future issue with waranty.

I look at it this way, I spent almost 60K on a truck, so I'll spend a few extra bucks and change the oil at 4, 000 miles.
Oil is the best insurance you can buy, especially if you still have EGR running. |
