motorcraft motor oil
hey guys new 6.7 owner love it too death, now my question is involving motor oil. Is synthetic oil better, worth the money, and what are the advantages over regular motor oil, i live in upstate ny, so have cold winters i have the block heater, but because i live in an apartment complex on second floor, cannot plug it in since no power source close to my truck. p.s. ford will do the oil changes, was thinking 0w-30

Yes and yes, will be more fluid in the colder temps and can extend your oil changes because it won't break down as quick and will keep your engine cleaner inside.

If you read the manual....cold weather...short drives = severe duty. I just did my first oil change in NW PA and winter's coming...so I went with Rotella synthetic. Tractor Supply had it on sale. Check your manual. I have 1000 miles on the oil change and all is good. And, I sent my oil out for analysis at Blackstone labs....nice report...They said it is looking good!
