Ford Paint vs Dodge Ram

It's been my experience with my Dodges that the general factory finish is poor at best. How have people liked the Ford factory paint finish of the F series?

The finish on my 2012 is good but my 1998 f150 i had was alot better in my opinion. In the last 3 years I have owned a 2010 f-250 and a 2011 f-150 and the paint on those were about the same as my 2012 f-350

Well, living in the rainy northwest my 15 year old 97 F350 has held up very well. Way to early to speculate how my 2012 Metallic Silver will hold up but the paint sure has plenty of gloss and it looks good. It will get it's twice a year waxing and time will tell.

I live in Puerto Rico (very hot and humid tropical climate) and the paint job in both of my trucks are immaculate, I don't have a garage so my trucks are exposed to the elements 24 hours a day, no fading, no discoloration, nothing. Never owned a dodge but the trucks I saw in the roads here can't handle our climate very well. The FORD paint job are top notch IMHO.
