Pure Performance
Really leaning towards Pure Performance for the lift kit I'm going to get.
I want either an 8" or 9" lift kit? As long as the ride quality or the reliability and steering are not affected by the extra 1" that's what I'm going to do! Pure stated they could make me a higher kit if I wanted! I'm very undecided on the difference in the Pre-Runner which comes with coil overs and the triple threat?? I'm curious as if the ride is that much better with the coil overs? Anyways my questions are 1) 8 or 9"??? 2)Does the Pure Kit not come with 4 new brake lines as a lot of other kits do? 3) carrier bearing drop?? I have a longbed and didt see that in the kit? 4) coil overs worth the extra money?? Does this mean I don't need a front shock because I've seen some with both? 5)anybody riding on one of these 8" kits and What do y'all think? Btw I'm running 36x15.50x20 MTZ on 20x14 Hostages |

I would stay at 8" and do the 8" Chase system as it comes with softer full leaf replacements that keep your block height quite a bit shorter. That kit does come with a set of stainless brake lines It doesn't come with a carrier bearing drop kit as mant trucks won't need one. For you truck I would recommend one. If the shocks that you get to go with the Chase or Triple Threat system are valved the same as the coilover system, the ride should be about the same. I don't have an 8" system on my truck but I run a 4" Triple Threat kit with Prodigy 2.0's on my 08 F350 and it rides pretty darn good. A part of the ride comes from me running 37's on 17's so keep that in mind as well. I have also run Rock Krawler (Pure's sister company) systems on my last few Jeeps with great results. |
