Hello Friends, long time no hear from, sold my 09 6.4 King Ranch F-450 and have not been active... Thought you might like to hear how things are going here in Oz...
I had a three hour dinner with the head Importer and Right Hand Drive conversions in Australia on Techie stuff regarding the 6.7 (and other things).. I have only seen about maybe 8 of the 6.7s towing our Bushtracker Caravans that have come in here, but he reports 180 RHD Ford 6.7s out so far. In a nutshell, he claims the 6.7 is roaring along and is the best thing Ford has done in years...
Now, I talked with him on rumours of reprogramming required, and that the 6.7 seemed to have some bugs in it. I was just in a loop of the "Old West" in July, going to Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming, then on to Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone. (Great time, might do it every year and go to the Calgary Stampede in Canada as well as I am a Horseman here in Oz)... Anyway, how the Fords were doing came up, as Wyoming is loaded with Dodge Rams..

Now they (Dodge) Sponsor Cheyenne Frontier Days and the largest outdoor rodeo in America, so they please a lot of Cowboys here, OK with that...
The report was that it was smoothing out now, with a few early glitches. What do you all hear? I saw many Fords come up the the CFDays from Texas and further away..
So, are the bugs worked out in the programming? Many seem to think they get as much as 5 mpg more towing with the tuner and the DPF gone..
I am thinking about picking up a CC SRW 4x4 F-350 to take up to Calgary and down to CFD and maybe back to Australia... Our experience here with 180 trucks (only) has been good, what about the overall feeling with you Blokes? Thanks in advance
God Bless America,

Lone Ranger, Horseman out on the "Last Frontier"
