2012 f350 help

Looking at getting rid of my 2009 that i just bought. Ford is having trouble fingering out the problem so i may take a little loss and get out of this thing.
Ive been reading that the 6.7 was having some turbo issues and that they have an upgraded turbo or turbo that doesnt have these issues. Are they putting these in all the 2012s or is there a build date that i need to watch for.

I am interested in this as well. I just ordered a 2012 a couple weeks ago. Wondering if they fixed the issue on the 12's

I've read about this too,but one thing I've learned about reading anything on the internet is they make it bigger then the problem is.. I'll be waiting to see what people say I also have a new 2012. I've talked to a couple of Ford Diesel mechanics and they both had nothing but possitive things to say about them. Couple little problems here and there like you will with anything,but they havn't gone inside the engine yet at their garages

New turbo came into production trucks in Feb '12.

They aren't dropping like flies anymore, but there are a few reports w/ bad turbos in '12s (though I don't know their production dates so they could be pre update.)

I am offering up prayers to the SD gods that mine doesn't fail. Mfg'd the end of Feb.

Thats the info i was kinda wondering about. I was trying to find that, but had no luck yet.

heres the sticker on the one i was looking at. Looks like at the bottom i see 02/02/12
is that the build date. i couldnt see a door sticker saying the date.
