Stop Safely Now

Last weekend while the wife and i were out looking at new houses, the truck made the warning sound and on the display read "Stop Safely Now" then boom it died leaving me wihtout any acceleration, powersteering, etc going 60+ miles per hour trying to hard steer this thing over into the shoulder of the freeway. Not only was this extrememly dangerous but irritating. Towed into the ford house locally (Dallas) check it out and it was the EGT or exhaust gas temperature sensor, fixed in 3 hours and back on the road. This is kinda stuff that makes me want to yank all this emmissions crap off this thing. All stuff aside i still love this truck and wouldnt trade it for the world.

Deleting all of the emissions has its pluses and minuses. I did it and I'm glad i did. You just have to research it and decide if it is for you.

....the minuses?
more power, better fuel economy, clean oil..... no warranty if the damaged part is found to be a result of the tuning.. (kindling provided, flame needed!)

I deleted mine around 96k, at 112k still no issues, but out of warranty anyhows..
