Blows my 2500HD away...

Well over the last 24 hours, i've sold my 2008 Duramax and my 2007 Sierra Denali,, bought a new F250 and been backed into on the way home from the dealer. What a day! So without further adieu...

My new Ford F250 XL - 6.7 Powerstroke - 4x4 - this thing is awesome. This surpasses my Silverado 2500HD in EVERY aspect. This truck can not get enough traction on the street, rides like butter and is SUPER quiet. It's awesome. It is an XL with every power option of an XLT - just no chrome.

Perfect. That's all I can say - i've had a **** eatin grin since I left the dealership. And yes, while at wingstop, someone backed into the front bumper and put its first scratch on it. Already.

Bug gaurd, side steps and mud flaps are coming off sunday when I get home from River Run.

Next week - new wheels/tires and leveled. Then to the performance shop.

The most this truck will ever tow is my quad (also red/black). I work from home so, it will strictly be for play as 90% of the time I get in it - that's what i'm going out to do - play.

I'd love to put a short bed on it. The guy I sold my duramax to had an 05 F250 with a short bed. Was a badass looking truck. Seeing pics of his, pushed me over the edge of conviction to actually do it.

This was the guy's that bought my duramax. Nice guy - Eric from Michigan if you read this lol. He essentially made my jaw drop when he showed me these pictures cause it was EXACTLY what I had in mine - all the way down to the wheels.




He let his friend take it and his car hauler so his friend could get his subaru WRX tuned. They ended up rolling it back in the trailer and not strapping it down. When leaving the shop, they got on it, the car rolled to the back of the trailer and took all the weight off the tongue. It got all crazy and the driver hit the brakes... through the car ford and made the sitation a little worse. He said the subaru landed on its tires - rubber side down.

He did go on to say it was the most fun truck he'd ever had. It looks like a blast out there in the sand.

That sucks! I'd never let someone barrow my truck to tow something. I'd tow it for them, but not just give over the keys

Oh yea.... really any superduty when working it, blows those HDs out of the water. I towed with a 3500 and it felt like my old 1/2 ton with a load on.
