tires for new truck with sensors
hi, I am looking at putting new tires on my truck. The stock rubber is fine on the road but I hate the fact that I get stuck on wet grass. There are a few brands I like but my question / concern is to do with the TPMS on the wheels. Some of the tires are rated for 65 psi and stock is 80 psi. Will I have an issue with the pressure sensors if I go with a 65 psi rated tire? I do plan on keeping my stock 18" wheels but am looking at a slightly bigger tire than the 275/70/18 size [ 33.2" ]. I'm after a 35" or close to it 325/65/18 maybe. Also any recomendations on an all terrain tire would be appreciated. Thanks for anyones suggestions, Steve

I run a 295/70/18 (34.5) and love it. Get your computer recalibrated to 20" rims and tires (because those are 34.5 inches from the factory) and you will only be .5 mph off.

check out the 295/70/18 nitto I noticed it is an 80psi tire and is the only tire with a load rating over 4000lbs....if you don't tow heavy, go with an e-rated 65psi and you will get a better ride....BTW Nitto has that 295 size in the terra grappler and the new trail grappler if you need some aggressive tread
