Hi
If you search online in your area you can find kids/guys that do it part time. It's not a big deal if you have time to spare. Make sure you check references from other guys too. 180custom in Brooklyn NY does them, they have fast turnaround too but you have to ship. Or google search "fort myers florida custom painted headlights" GL |

True Bliss Customs also paints headlights. They're out of California. When I inquired about the procedure, I got a quote that was identical to buying new OEM Harley Davidson edition headlights from Tasca Parts by the time return shipping was factored in. There was a few day turnaround period so you need a set of headlights if you plan on driving the truck or risk a ticket etc.
There's a thread in the 6.4 section about how to custom paint your headlight bezels. The gist of it is that you bake the lights, pry the lens off the housing, disassemble the headlight, take the bezel out, paint it, glue/seal everything back up. There's a good DIY that has lots of pictures in it and instructions with several users that have done it. Another option may be to just tint the headlights. As far as smoking taillights go, search for threads about Nightshade. Lots of people using Nightshade to tint their taillights with very good results for a few dollars and some of their time. |
