New Rig!

Hi all,

Just got my 2012 F350 Lariat Ultimate CC LWB 6.7L Adobe Beige FX4 today. Runs and feels like a dream! How many miles should I rack up before towing anything. My dealer recommended 2000 but said after 1000 miles you can tow. I have a 10,000lb 5er. Should I do the first oil change before towing?

i believe the manuel says 1k miles and i would recommend a oil change before ur tow because usually the oil in there is break in oil also they dont recommend driving a consistent speed during first few thousand miles its not in the manuel but its all about being a fresh engine its kinda hard to explain
