Hill decent questions?

Hey guys just got my 2012 6.7 and cant figure out how to use hill decent. Does this feature work towing a trailer at highway speeds or just going down a tiny hill going 20 mph. Thanks guys

I think it is just for off roading. Like going down a steep grade with loose gravel on it, it will control all the breaking of your truck to keep it under control. I don't have it though so Im not 100% sure though

If it doesn't work all the time, it might only work when the truck detects a trailer hooked up via the brake wire circuit closing.
I was under the assumption it's just partially using the old tow haul mode while using the VGT as a turbo brake like some other tunes.

The 12 is pretty cool aint it! I got mine just a couple months back. I tested it the other day(no trailer, cuz i understood it to be only in low4x4) it took a minute but it was kinda cool. Went down a 52° incline (according to the dash) and never touched the brake. Once it was set, anyways. Took a min to set tho. Started down the hill on the brakes then the trany took over and i never touched them again.
